Face Exercises: Start To Look Younger In Days

As I read a lot of articles, blog posts and reviews on what works best when a person wants to look younger naturally, many have made mention of face exercises. Growing up as a kid I remember seeing my mother make strange expressions while washing her face and at the time I wasn't sure what the heck she was doing. Now I know she was performing a well-known natural anti aging regimen that many use to this day.

A few years back I decided to incorporate vowel face exercises into my anti aging routine and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the results. Although there were not any dramatic changes in the way my face looked, I could definitely tell a difference after about a week. At the time I started, the only signs of aging that I had were a few lines around my mouth when I smile or laugh and slight sagging in my jowls. After about five days my laugh lines seemed to diminish and my jowls were lifted.

All I did was make the vowel sounds of a, e, i, o and u and exaggerated each vowel to the point where there was tightness in my face. In order to get the most out of these face exercises you need to hold each sound for five seconds without moving your forehead and eyes. Only your mouth should be moving. You can help hold your eyes and forehead in place by putting your hands on your temples and slightly pull back while making the sounds.

Go through the process of saying all the vowels a total of five times. Do these face exercises once a day and you should see results within a week or less. If you want to look younger without surgery or other medical procedures, this could be the way to go for you.

Natural Facelift: The Sun Is Your Skin's Enemy!

With the 4th of July in just a couple a days a lot of you probably have plans to engage in some outdoor fun. It may be that you'll be having or attending a backyard barbeque or you and your family may be taking a trip to the waterpark. Whatever your plans are, if they involve being out in the sun then the best natural facelift solution for this is SUNSCREEN and SHADE! The sun is one of the worst anti-aging enemies ever. It dries out the skin, causes wrinkles and age spots and can make you look years older than you really are. Prolonged exposure to the sun can even cause skin cancer. This is why it is imperative to protect yourself from the damage that can be caused by the harmful uv rays of the sun.

Recommended SPF

Many people have questions about the spf level they should use for their face. According to many dermatologists the recommended spf to adequately protect your face ranges from 30-60 spf depending your skin type. If you have sensitive skin then the spf level you use should be higher. Remember that applying sunscreen just once a day is not enough. Depending on how much sun exposure you are getting, sunscreen should be applied every 4-6 hours and right after excess sweating, swimming and other sport activities.

Shade Yourself

Another good anti aging technique for beating the harmful effects of the sun is to shade yourself. This could be with a hat, beach umbrella, patio covering or whatever.  The shade will not only cool you off but will act as a natural protector from the sun.

Producing a natural facelift doesn't always have to mean that you will need to do some facial exercises or employ an age reversal technique. Something as easy as putting on sunscreen or shading yourself from the sun on a regular basis can prove to be beneficial to your anti aging regiment.
